GlaxoSmithKline paid $120 million through 2011 to resolve more than 100 lawsuits filed in the past nine months concerning its denture cream Poligrip. According to the lawsuits, Poligrip caused neurological disorders in patients because of the high levels of zinc in the product, and GSK allegedly failed to warn consumers of this risk.
